Elecnor Deimos establishes a new subsidiary in Italy, joining the existing ones in Portugal, United Kingdom and Romania

Elecnor Deimos begins in Italy its activities of neo surveillance systems, and will expand its scope of action to other areas of space engineering

The Italian subsidiary starts its activities with several contracts aimed at the development and operation of NEO surveillance systems (near-Earth objects) in ESRIN, the headquarters of the European Space Agency in Frascati, Italy. The projects that have now been started reflect the consolidation of the role that Elecnor Deimos has been playing so far in the NEOs Center of ESRIN, where the company is in charge of their operations management.

Once Elecnor Deimos has established their subsidiary in Italy, it is foreseen, as was the case with other subsidiaries, to extend their areas of activity to space engineering within the areas of specialization of the company, where a group of engineers will join the business units of Flight Systems, Ground Segment, Satellite Navigation and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) in the new subsidiary.
