Elecnor Deimos participates in the congress NextStation 2017: Smart Stations in Smart Cities

Elecnor Deimos showcases its most advanced solutions for the management of railway stations at the NextStation 2017 congress, taking place in Madrid, October 19-21.

This 6th edition of the conference, organised by the Spanish Rail Infrastructure Manager, Adif, together with the International Union of Railways, UIC, will tackle the key issues under the main theme “Smart Stations in Smart Cities”. This topic links two of the main areas of activity of Elecnor Deimos.

Elecnor Deimos has participated as developer and marketer of the Integral Platform of Information and Supervision of railway stations (ELCANO), under the ownership of ADIF.

ELCANO is a system that provides real-time information to the passenger regarding the state of the railway network, integrating devices distributed throughout ADIF stations and via its Mobile Channel, through the APP “Adif in your mobile”.

Moreover, ELCANO includes an integral system for the remote control of stations, contributing to their energy efficiency and providing them with smart features that facilitate their management and maintenance.
